Auf dem Weg zum Badezimmer kommen mir die Ausläufer des AXE-Deodorants der Nachbarn unter mir entgegen. Durch den Türspalt. Das bedeutet, sie haben das Haus verlassen und jetzt breitet sich dieses ätzende Proll-Gas im ganzen Treppenhaus aus. Verstehe nicht, daß das noch erlaubt ist, AXE-Deo. Vorgestern, beim Anwalt zur vegetarischen Lasagne, wurde auch schon diskutiert, bzw. ich sagte, dass mich der nahezu allgegenwärtige Weed-Geruch in Kreuzberg nervt, I get it, aber ich hätte gerne die Wahl. Vielleicht nervts mich, weil ich dahinter so ein Berlin-Lockerheits-Statement verstehe, dass man mir (und jedem) das so etwas unangenehm reindrücken will. Ist eben immer ein bisschen souveräner, und SCHÖNER, wenn man seine Freiheiten nicht allzu ostentativ ausbreitet immerzu, das kommt son bisschen klein rüber, Weltenge. Stichwort “Bielefeld”. 

Aus der Welt der Ausschreibungen: der PRIX DES ART CONTEMPORARY des Rotary Club Strasbourg. Thema: “Alle Menschen werden Brüder”, kein Witz:

Is a call for the renunciation of violence, taken from the „Ode to Joy“ by Friedrich Schiller. It has reached worldwide prestige and recognition through the fourth movement of Beethoven‘s 9th symphony (d-Moll, op. 125) – and also as anthem of Europe. Fraternity (and sisterhood) as well as its opposite, fratricide – already described in the story of the fatal brothers Cain and Abel –, set the range of topics for the Contemporary Art Prize, now in its sixth year. Rotary Clubs from Bonn (Germany), Novara (Italy) and Strasbourg (France) invite to participate in this award ceremony, held in Bonn on the occasion of Beethoven’s 250th anniversary. The Clubs originate from countries that were repeatedly at war with each other thoughout history. Could the desire for universal human brotherhood expressed in the exclamation be understood as a wake-up call, as utopia, even as an excessive demand on men, since it ignores the dark sides of human nature? This opens, at any rate, a broad range of subjects for contemporary art – in Europe and beyond. A reference to the person of Ludwig van Beethoven and his work, also with regard to synaesthetic phenomena in the border area between music or sound and visual art, would be welcome but is not mandatory.”

Brutaler Eindruck der Infantilisierung, dass man jetzt ständig zu irgendwelchen Themenvorgaben arbeiten soll/kann, ausgerechnet in der Kunst. Ich meine, klar, finden ganz viele wahrscheinlich total schön und spannend. Okay, dann ist es so.

Das Wort “woke”, dass das eigentlich aus dem Bereich der Konversion kommt, haha.
